Howard Deihl

Coach Howard has dedicated over 30 years to coaching, helping athletes grow both on and off the field. Throughout his career, he has guided countless players to compete at the collegiate level, from Division I to junior college and NAIA programs.

His experience includes serving as a head coach, assistant coach, and private hitting coach for many years, specializing in player development and college preparation. In addition to coaching, Coach Howard is the author of The College Recruiting Process: How to Get Recruited, a trusted resource for student-athletes and families, available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Coach Howard is the founder and former owner of Homerun Alley in Carrollton, Texas, a training facility dedicated to fastpitch softball. He is also proud to serve as the Media and Recruiting Coordinator for Glory Adkins AA, where he continues to support athletes in pursuing their dreams. In 2025 alone, he was instrumental in helping six of his players earn college softball scholarships.

With a career marked by leadership, mentorship, and proven results, Coach Howard remains committed to inspiring the next generation of athletes to reach their full potential.
